Palamedes is a large man, standing nearly six and a half feet tall and with the build of a line backer. He has rich brown skin and eyes, tends to shave his head and has bright white teeth. He also has three, small horizontal scars on each cheek, beneath both eyes. His accent has a hint of the middle east to it.

For those who are psychic or can see auras, his aura is dark green and smells like cloves. If your pup has an acute sense of smell, he will smell of cloves.

Also, despite some of his icons, he does not have a cartouche stamped on his forehead.

Palamedes is an awakened immortal. The myths say he is a prince of Babylon who traveled to the British Isles and had bad luck in love with an Irish princess who didn't love him in return. Before his misfortune could lead to ruin, he fell in with a good and noble king.

He was given the gift of immortality as a curse by Tammuz, later called the Green Man. In the future he will settle down in London with William Shakespeare but for now he just survived the final battle between the forces of King Arthur and Prince Mordred.

Regarding his immortality and what does awakened really mean...
Being immortal means he heals rapidly and from most wounds that would prove deadly to mortals (think Highlander immortals). He does not age though he can die by violence.

As an awakened immortal, Palamedes can manipulate his aura to produce magic affects. Most often this was shown in canon as creating a suit of dark green, almost black chain mail armor and swords. He can conjure other types of armor but chain is just what's more comfortable for him. It is also suggested in canon that he can do other feats of magic.

All of his senses are super humanly acute, think Wolverine levels of acuity, and he can see auras. Unlike many fictional depictions of auras, in his canon auras can't really give detailed information and each person has a specific color of aura. General health and mood can be gleaned from an aura but not if the person is lying or prone to violence or the like.

One special gift his Elder gave him is the ability to travel the shadowrealms and be unaffected by them. This is never clarified in canon so I am interpreting it as means that he will not suffer from time dilation effects, magic corruption and the like.
